The team at Providence Pest Control are experts at protecting your family and pets from ticks! First, we will discuss with the customer where they are experiencing ticks and how they think the problem started.
The best time to begin a Tick control program is in Spring before Summer. But if you’re struggling with a full-blown infestation, Ticks must be controlled at every stage of their life cycle. The team at Providence Pest Control knows how to kill ticks and prevent future generations from breeding, giving you the long-term protection you deserve.
After the area has been properly prepped and people and pets are out of the rooms we will do a walk-thru. We will make sure that all belongings are off the floor and nothing is in the area that doesn’t need to be treated.
Next, we will broadcast materials using a fine fan spray to ensure that areas where the ticks are hiding and where they have dropped the eggs are treated. We will follow this up with an aerosol insect growth regulator treatment in the same areas. After the treatment, we will discuss with the customer what to expect and follow up steps they should take once the areas are dry such as thoroughly vacuuming and discarding the vacuum bags outside the home.
Our exterior tick treatment involves the broadcasting of liquid residual materials onto the infested areas. All humans and pets will need to stay out of these areas for 3-4 hours or until completely dry.
At Providence Pest Control, we take pride in a job well done, so you can count on our pest control team to arrive promptly and to work hard every single time you call us for our services. With more than 7 years of experience in the pest control industry, we have developed extremely effective processes and techniques that are sure to eradicate your home’s pest problem.
Tick infestations usually start with your cat or dog. These pests attach themselves to your pets when they’re outside, and then infest their fur and areas they sleep indoors. This means to control Ticks successfully, you need to treat the inside of your home and your yard! Luckily, IPM can help. If you’re dealing with a Tick infestation, or want to safeguard your home from these nasty pests, call 770-880-4939 today!
Ticks attach themselves sucking blood from your loved one. Hence the reason why your pets scratch so much after they’ve been bitten. And, in some cases, Tick bites cause allergic reactions in humans. But the real problem is Ticks carry insect-borne diseases just like mosquitoes and fleas. According to the CDC, the number of illnesses caused by flea bites tripled from 2004 to 2016. So if you’re dealing with a tick infestation, you need to act fast!
Ticks love warm-blooded animals, like your pets. They consume 15 times their body weight in blood, which can cause anemia and significant blood loss. So we recommend that you supplement your flea and tick preventative with 2-3 tick treatments during the warmer months in Location. This will create an additional line of defense from these blood-sucking pests.
