Our Rat & Mice Control Services

Our rodent control service starts with a thorough inspection of the property. It is important to identify the type of rodent, where they are hiding, and how they are likely getting in. We will take pictures of the possible entry points and provide an estimate for repairing those areas and excluding the rodents in the first place. We will then discuss with the customer and provide our recommendations for a plan to eliminate the infestation. Our ongoing rodent control service involves the use of traps and when possible, baits. With over 7 years of experience, we’re McDonough, GA‘s highest-rated and most dependable rodent control experts.

Our Unique Approach To Rat & Mice Control

Our number one goal is to give you the instant relief you need and the long-term protection you deserve from rats and mice. Because every situation is unique, we’ll use a combination of the following measures to address your rodent problem at the source:

    1. RODENT INSPECTION

We will meet with the customers to learn what they are seeing and when. We will ask if they are seeing droppings and where they are hearing noises. We will then begin our inspection in the attic and work our way down. We are looking for any possible entry point, nesting signs, droppings, rub marks, chew marks, and damages that the rodents may have caused. We will use our discussions and findings to
determine the type of rodent and the best treatment method going forward. We stress the importance of repairing all possible rodent entry points and an ongoing rodent program to make sure that the home stays rodent-free.

    2. RODENT BAITS & TRAPS

Once we determine the type of rodent, we can determine the best method of treatment going forward. Traps are very effective but require more follow-up to clean out the traps and reset them. Snap traps are set in areas where rodents are trailing suck along rafters in an attic and along walls in a crawl space. Traps are normally baited with peanut butter or other rodent food sources that are highly attractive to them.

    3. RODENT MONITORING

Our main ongoing rodent program is set up monthly. On a monthly basis, we will return to check, clean out traps and reset them. We will let the customer know our findings and set the next appointment.

    4. RODENT EXCLUSION

Our rodent exclusion process involves the repair of the rodent access points using wire mesh, sheet metal, steel wool, and other construction materials to permanently seal the rodent out. We will take pictures of these areas and provide an estimate for the repairs during our initial inspection. Pricing is determined based on what repairs need to be made and comes with a 1-year warranty on the repaired areas.

    Frequently Asked Questions

We need to determine the type of rodent that we are dealing with in order to determine their likely
hiding spots and the best methods to quickly eliminate the infestation.

The most important part of solving a rodent infestation is exclusion. You must seal up the entry points to keep them out in the first place. It is also important to keep food and water sources where rodents cannot easily access them. After these items have been addressed you can begin to reduce the populations using traps and or rodent baits. If you’re dealing with a rat or mice problem, or want to protect yourself from future infestations, please call us at 770-880-4939!

We will set traps and apply baits only in areas where you, your family and your pets would not come into contact. These areas are normally unfinished likely attics and crawl spaces where you are not likely to go. To schedule your first visit, please give us a call at 770-880-4939.
